In his Eclogues, also know as Bucolics, Book X, line 69, Virgil points out that,"Omnia vincit amor." Whereas, in his Georgics, Book I, line 145–6, Virgil stresses, "Labor omnia vincit."
What will it be? Amor or Labor?
Now, Cartier's brought all that history back by bringing the Tortue to the Cartier Privè collection. I'm excited to get hands-on with link these, especially the monopusher: Cartier hasn't told us much link about the movement, but says link it's a new column-wheel chronograph that measures just 4.3mm thick and touts its various finishing techniques, including Côtes de Genève, bevelling, and so on. Of the two other strap link models, one has a pavé dial, as well as a full diamond-set link case and lugs, and the other has a Mega-Tapisserie dial, and is set with baguette diamonds (which the press release describes as "muscular" – not the first nor even the hundredth adjective I think of when I think of baguette-cut diamonds but hey, why shouldn't a baguette aspire to being link swole). And the fourth, of course, is fully diamond-set, including the bracelet.
Zenith and Breitling both link utilized a similar concentric disc system in the past 10-15 years link but neither currently offers a big-date watch. The brands that continually offer a big link date option – such as A. Lange & Söhne, Blancpain, Carl F. Bucherer, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and a few others – have favored alternative solutions.

This has a number of differences – the unit watches have matte black dials and bezels, link with creamy lume.
