Volgendo  uno  sguardo dalla finestra

Verso la gente che sa’ dove sei 

Ma non ti vuole

Immaginando parole di comprensione

Verso coloro che racchiudi nel tuo cuore

Ma sai che non ci sono

Pensando nel vuoto

Verso un buio che non vede luce

Ma sa’ che non ci sarà dopodomani

Provando un vuoto 

Che  non sai riempire di sentimenti

Ma sai che sei solo

Ti rivolgi verso un lontano ieri

Il braciere e il mattone

Per non essere solo

Prendendo un Bukowski e Carver

Trovi la  compagnia

E non sei più solo

Taking a look out the window

Towards the people who know where you are 

But don’t want you there

Imagining words of understanding

Towards those you hold dear

But you know they are not there

Staring at emptiness

Towards a darkness that will see no light

But knows there will not be an after-tomorrow

Feeling a void 

That you don’t know how to fill 

Knowing that you are alone

Turning towards a far away yesterday

Sensing the brazier and the brick

But feeling even more alone

Holding a Bukowski or a Carver

Finding the companionship

Not to be alone
