Go on, give the 1926 the Black Bay Bronze treatment! We can ease into it with a bronze case and black dial. I think one of the best looking current combos of the 1926 is the black dial rose link gold and steel combo. A little unexpected, a little rugged, but still with diamonds (but not available in the 28mm size boo). Replace the rose gold with bronze and let's see what happens! If you want to look at this through a vintage lens, you might say, at first glance, that it has a Tank Chinoise feel. In my mind, the vibe is a little more Cristallor. For the true watch-heads, one could compare link it to a Patek "Top Hat" 1450. Regardless of its inspiration, this collaboration presents link an incredibly well priced link riff on a very classic style.
Much like a concept car, the watch showcases the upper limits of current horological engineering. Of course, there are brands like Richard Mille, Urwerk, and even AP's Concept line doing something radical and tech-forward in a way that few others are, but those link exist in the link six-figure category.
