L’uomo chiude gli occhi all’amore
Siamo noi a dimenticare.

Time leaves everyone behind
The Romans forgot the Greeks
The Italian Republic no longer remembers the Two Sicilies
Europeans do not know who the real Indians are
The Americans no longer find the Twin Towers
The world closes its eyes to the deaths of children
Strangers are tired of Democracy
The neighbors do not accept equality
The lovers no longer find their family
Time leaves everyone behind
The baby forgets its mother’s womb
The child does not remember the hugs
The boy doesn’t know who his parents are
The young man does not find true friendship
Man closes his eyes to love
The parent is tired of the indifference
Grandpa no longer knows what to do
The great-grandfather no longer finds time to live
Time leaves everyone behind
But it leaves us with memories.
We are the ones who forget.

This is, admittedly, link less a story link about watches and more about time. Attempting to capture a seemingly uneventful day on a busy but kind of boring street in New York. But when you look at the link photos you see levels and layers, the type of interplay that makes city living so interesting. Some watches come with a story, some are just there to tell time. Both are good, both are real.
On the technical side, it's important to note that all of the watches covered in this post, Ice Divers and the previous link models, have equal specs. They all use the 6R35, they all have Seiko's super-hard coating link applied on the case and bracelet, and they all have an aluminum bezel insert. It's link simply a matter of aesthetics and bracelet/strap options that allow for differentiation among the range.
You might guess some of the pieces link instantly, but there are a few doozies in there as well. With the reveal link of each watch, the article provides a brief history as well as some background and technical specifications. The illustrations are set against bright and colorful backdrops with faithfully executed renderings of the hand designs. This is the type of material that can be enjoyed by link seasoned collectors and beginners alike.
Then, after falling down the rabbit hole I decided that I needed to get a "real link watch," meaning something automatic, and I hit my parents up link for a Seiko SKX007, which I ended up getting for link my 14th birthday.
